Altissimo Quintet is Ireland’s only Viola Quintet, and brings together some of Ireland’s top string players: Joanne Quigley, Paul O’Hanlon, violins, Adèle Johnson, Errika Horsley, violas, and Martin Johnson, cello

Programme: Alban Berg ‘Four Pieces’ for clarinet and piano, Ann Cleare ‘Eyam’, New work by Ryan Molloy (Premiere), and Stockhausen ‘Tierkreis’

Carol McGonnell, hailed as an ‘extraordinary clarinetist’ by the New York Times,
is joined by fellow Dubliner, critically acclaimed pianist Finghin Collins.

An Irish violinist of Romanian origin, Ioana Petcu-Colan is one of Ireland’s finest musicians. She is currently a member of Ensemble Avalon and associate leader of the Ulster Orchestra.
