As a voluntary organisation, Belfast Music Society relies heavily on the
services of volunteers – both on the Board of Management and at every BMS
event. If you are enthusiastic about chamber music and would like to volunteer
your services or have skills which you think would benefit the organisation
please
to discuss how best to help.
Friends of BMS
"Friends of BMS" is a group of people who wish to hear the best
music and performers, also to explore our wider artistic legacy on the Island
of Ireland. We visit interesting buildings, gardens, people, restaurants,
we support our young musicians with opportunities to perform and with sponsorship,
we support the BMS International Festival; quite simply we spend "quality
time" together, enjoying the company and the varied experiences.
Membership is open to all, for the payment of £15.00 annually.

Sponsorship
Belfast Music Society is an organisation run by volunteers. We have no staff,
premises or resources, but our main asset is our passion to make high quality
chamber music available to audiences in Belfast and the wider region.
We raise income from a variety of sources such as grants from public bodies,
sponsorship from the private sector, from ticket sales and also from donations
by friends and supporters. We then buy-in the services of musicians and other
professionals for our concerts and events.
Every pound we raise is important to us, especially voluntary donations
that we receive. If you are just as passionate about what we do and would
like to support our aims by making a financial donation to BMS or by sponsoring
an event, please
or any of the BMS officials and we can discuss
the best way to do this that meets our respective needs.
Thank you for your consideration.
