This edition of Chamber Babies is with Aisling Agnew (flute) and Tristan Russcher (piano)
Walk, sway, crawl, roll, dance or just chill out to a carefully selected programme of short classical pieces designed both to engage and enchant (or soothe to sleep!) the youngest listeners and their mums and dads.
Chamber Babies concerts are specially designed for babies aged 0-18 months.
Enjoy coffee and cake in the Crescent Arts Centre cafe before or after the concert. Chamber Babies concerts last about 40 minutes.
These concerts are designed specifically for babies UP TO the age of 18 months. We reserve the right not to permit entry for older babies/children. If you are bringing more than one baby, please make sure there is more than one adult in your party!
Tickets are based on one adult and baby, please ensure additional tickets are purchased if there is more than one adult in your party.
Aisling Agnew is a flautist from Belfast. She performs internationally and has toured across many continents, performing at prominent festivals such as the National Flute Association’s 40th Convention at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas, Jeonju International Sori Festival in Korea, Sarajevo Winter Festival and also closer to home at New Music Dublin, the British Flute Convention in Manchester, Celtic Connections in Glasgow, and the Belfast International Festival as both a soloist and chamber musician. Aisling is host of the successful podcast The Flute NI and has interviewed many performers, teachers and makers about their experiences.
Tristan is one of the leading keyboard musicians on the island of Ireland. Born in Australia, he moved to England to read music as organ scholar at Worcester College, Oxford. He moved to Dublin in 2003 as organ scholar at Christ Church and St Patrick’s Cathedral’s. Now living in Belfast, he enjoys a freelance career working with the best musical ensembles on the island.
