Based around the Benyounes String Quartet, the Quercus Ensemble brings together some of NI/Ireland’s finest musicians for this programme of French and Irish music. The programme includes Cros by local composer Patrick Brennan, commissioned by Quercus and written in response to Debussy’s Danses Sacrée et Profane and Brian Friel’sDancing at Lughnasa.
